BOTOX®

FRACTIONAL  SKIN RESURFACING (FSR)

One of the most cutting-edge laser technology skin treatments available today, Fractional Skin Resurfacing (FSR) is a highly effective way to address static facial wrinkles. At Radiance of Westchester, we use Palomar Medical’s 1540 Fractional Skin Resurfacing laser, the latest generation in skin resurfacing technology used to treat fine lines and wrinkles. (In addition, FSR treats other skin problems such as stretch marks, acne & surgical scarring and melasma (brown pigment). The Palomar 1540 laser is the only one on the market today that has been FDA approved to treat stretch marks.)

The Palomar 1540 uses multiple microchannels to penetrate into the dermis far below the outer most skin layer, causing collagen retracting and remodeling. A patented sapphire tip cools the outer surface of the skin. This pain-free process allows the outer surface of the skin to act as a barrier to the elements, enabling the growth of healthy new skin that is smoother and wrinkle-free.
