NEW! Laser Liposuction and Botox for Excessive Underarm Sweating
The nervous system of people with hyperhidrosis is typically overactive. This overactivity produces an excessive sweating response. Excessive sweating can be detrimental in many ways, but typically causes mostly social and work related problems.
Radiance Westchester offers two separate treatment options for excessive underarm sweating; Laser Liposuction and Botox. Board Certified Cosmetic Surgeon, Neil Goodman, M.D., is an expert at using both Laser Liposuction and Botox to treat this condition.
Laser Liposuction has proven to be a minimally invasive and highly effective one time treatment for hyperhidrosis. With limited down time, this procedure permanently eliminates underarm hair.
Botox has also proven to be a highly effective hyperhidrosis treatment. When injected into the underarm area, Botox helps to control excessive underarm sweating by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. When these glands no longer receive the chemical signals, the excessive underarm sweating stops.
Please contact Radiance of Westchester for a complimentary consultation with Dr. Goodman.
